Did you know the King Arthur story is Fact not fiction. There was someone that the stories came from, plus in those days it is a Fact that other royal families destroyed any trace of another royal family. Excalibar is fantasy but think of the sword in the stone as a symbol of hope. *

actually excalibur is very real. it's hidden in the vatican's vaults. but the true magic lay in the scabbard. as long as the scabbard was on the wielder's body s-he could not be harmed. arthur was only injured once he'd lost the scabbard in the battle. *

also there was a second sword. Brigit forged it for arthur to replace the lost excalibur. the singing sword of champions. it would sing when wielded by a true champion. if the sword sang in the hands of a 'commoner' *
